This started as a dream, really. I have such admiration for so many women I come in contact with, that I just wanted to bring them together. They’re talented writers, artists, photographers, teachers, mothers, chefs, and knitters. They’re herbalists, massage therapists, yoga teachers, doctors, insurance agents and frustratedly unemployed. They run businesses or work for businesses. They are moms. sisters, daughters, aunts and grandmothers. Single. Married or Divorced. They find love and lose it, and find it again. They heal, hug, cajole, instruct, inspire and create. They travel and dream. They get cancer and heal. They garden and know the earth.

I wanted to bring these impressive women’s abilities and capacity for envisioning a future of balance and creativity to as many people as I could.

So, I gathered about 30 authentically awesome women together. We chatted about ways of sharing our lives and ideals, our stories and lessons, business connections and healthy ways of life. We craved connection with other women and a means of communicating -- so i thought, let’s bring the ideals of healthybeing to the web via this wonderful group of accomplished and inspiring women. It is time we share in this burgeoning means of idea and thought dissemination via web networking.

You'll find stories and poems, artwork and photographs, recipes and helpful hints. There are meditations on menopause and visualizations for self improvement. There's a little bit of something for anyone who wants to continue in the growing and changing departments. It's real, and it's positive. This is not a place where misery loves company, though we acknowledge life’s ups and downs. It is meant as an onward and upward sort of inspirational, interactive sharing tool (or as I like to say, "sharing toy.")  It's our women's hands-on site that will bring a sparkle and smile to your day. It will be thought provoking and at times, perhaps, you'll see wildly disparate opinions.

Women have always been personal coaches to one another. It has just been given a new name lately. And we're free.

And here we are.

We welcome feedback and contributions.
